Birds
Different birds gather round in different environments, they eat differently, they sing differently; they attract a partner in different manners. Just like we have different ways of attracting a life partner. Life is a song, each note, tone and symphony there to entertain, communicate and share. We even used birds to carry our mail – an important message to a loved one maybe?
Frogs
They adapt to their environment, water frogs have webbed feet just like we wear flippers to swim, frogs climbing reads and shrubs have suckers just like we wear studded shoes when we do rock climbing. They change colour to match their environment, just like we wear different clothes to blend in, to be cool or to be warm. They are flexible, like we are in our behaviour – being flexible and considerate to those around us.
Harmony
Using all the elements of life in such a way that we get the best out of life. Generally we focus on getting the best from life by developing ourselves, setting goals and having specific visions of a journey ahead. By simply having focused ideas we can grow, feed and reach great heights because life is a garden! Space for all shapes, sizes and colours.
Grow to live
Without growth we have barren land, with barren land we have no life, without life we have no love. Plants share our world and protect our system by absorbing carbon dioxide (what we breathe out) and release oxygen (what we breathe in).
We plant for food; we use plants for medicine, clothes and paper! How versatile is that!
Let us then grow to live! Grow in ourselves, in our relationships, spiritually and above all, grow our soil. Holding hands with nature is one of our biggest gifts. What better feeling than sitting in a park, hearing the birds sing, seeing green grass and feeling the soft tuffs of flowers. Trees all around us, trees not only offer shade and cover from rain, but living space for many species. In life we surround ourselves with growth by continuously improving our surroundings, the soft comforts of a fuzzy blanket in winter, that favourite teddy that remind you of days gone past.
Just like plants we are all uniquely different, with different talents, doing something different. Each one of us offer different talents, we look different and bring a smile to someone’s face in a different way. Have you ever taken the time to think if you were a plant …… what would you be?
To live is to remember; to remember is to cherish, to cherish is to know you have lived. We live a life purposefully purposeful.
Introspection:
Life is a garden – where will you be in life’s garden?
