Spring is a reminder of fresh beginning. We see plants grow and flowers bloom. One of the more significant observations is the change in temperature.
In the same way we can approach spring to clear out our minds and the way we approach each day. Positive thinking is very much the same as seeing a beautiful flower bloom. The process of a pod forming to the birth of something really significant. With positive thinking we lower the stress levels and stress hormone like cortisol and increase serotonin which takes us into a state of calm and happiness. Anyone that has ever visited a flower show or visited fields of beautifully colored flowers will tell you how their mood and state of peace were enhanced.
Ask yourself this :-
· Are you stuck in a rut ? Doing things the same old way?
· Are you frustrated with getting the same old results ?
· Have you been looking at other people and thinking why are they getting all the nice things of life ?
To change recognize this first :-
· Are you perhaps in “tired thinking” mode ?
· Tired thinking makes you feel tired, gives you tired solutions and tired careers, tired marriages and tired relationships.
Let’s get ready for the change:-
· Let’s dump “stinking thinking” and change it to positive affirmations
· Focus on being the mechanism for mindful intentional change
· Choose what should be the centre of your world – the world or the belief in something bigger and better
Change your tired thinking to I know what I want thinking:-
· Make clear and direct decisions
· Learn to say “no” without feeling guilty
· Handle criticism with a mindset for growth
· Be aware of your body language – walk the walk, talk the talk
· Express your feelings (especially anger) in a kind respectful manner
· Compliment others the way you would like to be complimented
· Take initiative – make that dream come true
· Build self-esteem
Choose each day – each day should be lived with new passion and purpose.
What is your passion for today ?
